In 2015, our Company successfully won a tender for a general contractor to build a new sports facilities for the statutory city of Opava.
The work realization consisted in the construction of a multipurpose sports hall and an outdoor sports pitch for the Opava Football Club. The actual construction of new hall buildings was preceded by the demolition of the existing sports hall. The new sports hall is designed in the VEDE steel system with a roof truss frame, façade cladding made of sandwich panels in cooperation with a contractor – Kingspan – and a roof folding skin due to the low pitch of the roof structure. The ground plan areas of new sports facilities are 979 m2 and 1,449 m2 for the multipurpose sports hall and the outdoor mini-pitch, respectively.
We are very pleased that we could participate in this construction and be part of the SFC sports club development in Opava.
